The Petting Zoo

Marsha’s Petting Zoo has been making kids smile for over 40 years. Marsha’s zoo has grown into one of Texas’ premier service companies, specializing in animal entertainment for holiday events, fairs, festivals, company picnics, seasonal parties, birthday parties, country club gatherings, charity events, and many more occasions. We travel all over Texas and near-Louisiana region, bringing a smile to the faces of more children than we can count. “Fun Facts” Educational Zoos are now available especially tailored for schools.

The Animals

Unlike many other zoo’s, our animals live on our big 80 acre farm just northeast of Houston in New Caney. They have large, open pastures and get plenty of exercise and downtime between events. We have a big barn for those cold nights and lots of shade during those hot Texas summers. A short list of our zoo animals includes:

The Rides

We have pony rides and hay rides. Our rides allow a child’s imagination to soar. They can enjoy excitement and feel of a saddle on a pony’s back, the sound of the tractor pulling the hay trailer, and the smells of the country – right at your event location.

The People

Our team are all highly seasoned professionals with a world of knowledge about our animals, experienced at setting up, maintaining and taking down our equipment in as unobtrusive way as possible so ya’ll can focus on having fun.
